Short bio
Martina van Lierop ist seit 2016 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Strategie und Management der Landschaftsentwicklung an der TU München beschäftigt. Nach ihrem Studium der Landschaftsarchitektur und Landschaftsplanung an der Fachhochschule Larenstein und der Universität Wageningen war sie als Landschaftsarchitektin in vielfältigen interdisziplinären und partizipativen Projekten in der Praxis und Forschung sowohl in den Niederlanden, in Deutschland als auch im Ausland, u.a. China, Palästina, und Russland, tätig. Diese Erfahrung spiegelt sich in ihrer Forschungsarbeit wider. So untersucht sie Ansätze, Strategien und Methoden zu Wissenstransfer und lokaler Umsetzung von Planung und Entwicklung naturbasierter Lösungen in kooperativen und partizipativen Governance-Prozessen, wie z.B. in den internationalen Projekten JUSTNature, CONEXUS und LOS_DAMA! Erfahrungen aus der Praxis und Forschung integriert Martina in die Lehre, wo sie schon mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung in Landschaftsarchitektur- und Landschaftsplanungsprojekten, Seminaren in Methodik und wissenschaftliche Praxis, Vorlesungen zu landschaftsplanerische Themen und Betreuung Abschlussarbeiten gesammelt hat. Zur Unterstützung der Lehre hat sie sich weiter didaktisch ausgebildet. Sie ist Copy-Editor für Landscape Online, das Journal der International Association for Landscape Ecology und Mitglied von ISOCARP.
