Im Rahmen des gemeinsamen Masterprojektes Umweltplanung und Ingenieurökologie sowie Landschaftsarchitektur 'Cirali - quo vadis' in Kooperation mit unserer Partneruni Akdeniz-University of Antalya wird Prof. Dr. Romeiß-Stracke am Do 2.5. 17:00 im O20 einen Gastvortrag zum Thema "Destination Management and Sustainable Tourism" halten. Prof. Dr. Romeiß-Stracke wurde vom Lehrstuhl für Strategie und Management der Landschaftsentwicklung eingeladen.

"Destination Management and Sustainable Tourism" Prof. Dr. Romeiß-Stracke has a background as sociologist and urban planner and is one of German protagonists of innovative and sustainable tourism development. In the nineties she was Professor for Tourism Management at the University of Applied Science in Munich, later she became lecturer for Leisure and Tourism Science at the TUM Faculty of Architecture and a lecturer for culture tourism at the Free University of Bozen (Italy). Destination Management is a complex task, especially for integrating the concepts of sustainable tourism development and sustainable landscapes. Prof. Romeiß Stracke will present systematic approaches, tools and action steps to achieve a sustainable tourism development in a participative way. She will also address some good practice examples.
